This is one of the most realist statements I’ve ever read, while in Thailand I met a range of people from millionairess to people who were living in the most basic of basic shacks. Yet the people with more money were the ones who seemed more uptight, constantly complaining and were filled with seemingly little compassion, whereas the ones with less material wealth were 100% happier. Happiness is not the amount of money you have in your bank it’s about having the strength in your self to stay positive and open hearted no matter the situation
